Schedule and availability of the examiner
Merit System/Union constraints on the availability of the
examiner
Pay and Benefits
Amounts
Will pay go to the state banking department or directly to
the examiner
Travel and Lodging expenses
Develop contract/letter agreement and decide on matters to be
included. (Note that examples used by others can be found on the
CSBS website.)
Does the hiring state need to develop a ?scope of duties?
document for review/approval by the examiner?s state of regular
employment? If so, what matters should be covered?
Ethics-related matters
Hiring state ?code of conduct? applicability to examiner
Confidentiality matters
Hiring State as final decision maker on matters dealt with
by the examiner
What sort of performance evaluation will be performed and to
whom will the evaluation be communicated?
Does the hiring state need to inform the institution where the
contract examiner will be working?
