April 24, 2012 – The House of Representatives, on Wednesday, will consider and vote on H.R. 2146, the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act (DATA), a bill that establishes strong reporting standards for federal spending information. The bill builds upon www.recovery.gov and www.USASpending.gov to build a single electronic system that combines spending information from agencies, the Treasury, and directly from recipients of federal funds.
