This new instructor-led, 6-week online course, is designed for inexperienced examiners or those seeking formal training in MSB examination procedures and techniques. The curriculum includes a comprehensive approach to MSB examinations and includes the MSB industry, financial characteristics and evaluations, internal controls and auditing, legal and compliance (BSA/AML), systems and technology, and management. The course is led by an experienced state bank regulator. Participants will be expected to complete weekly assignments, participate in threaded conversations and complete a comprehensive MSB examination case study. Students can expect to spend from six to eight hours a week on the course.

Credit Evaluation School (9/15/08) The new and improved Credit Evaluation School follows a blended learning model similar to our Certified Operations Examiner School. It is delivered over a 5-month period utilizing the most effective and efficient delivery channels. Over this period, the examiner will receive all of the required training and experience necessary to review and evaluate credit. The program follows a “dance card” concept utilized by many states. In addition, the examiner will have the benefit of the instructor serving as a “coach” throughout the program.
There will be an orientation WEBcast on Monday, June 30, 2008, three self-paced online courses to review before and three after the resident session, in addition to a series of on-the-job applications. Please register for this course no later than Friday, June 27, 2008.
