Mortgage loan originators (MLOs) comprise the majority of NMLS users. On Sept. 20, their individual licensing experience will improve significantly. The enhancements will roll out in NMLS Connect, a new component of NMLS. Individuals will apply for and manage licensing activity directly in NMLS Connect while still having access to the classic system.

What’s New?

• “My NMLS” homepage: A central hub for licensed individuals for quick access to tasks, licenses, and other key information.
• Streamlined workflows: Simplified processes for individuals and companies to access relationships and sponsorships.
• Smarter company tools: Improved search, greater centralization, and fewer steps to manage MLOs.
• License checklists in NMLS: In addition to continued access from the NMLS Resource Center, license requirements (checklists) will now be embedded directly in NMLS for the first time.
