CSBS announced in May 2026 the election of Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance Commissioner Rhoshunda Kelly as the new chair of the Board of Directors. Kelly oversees supervision of $127 billion in state-chartered banking assets and more than 8,000 consumer finance and mortgage licenses. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University and Louisiana State University and holds an Executive Certificate in Public Leadership from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
